Job Description
- Develops policy and directs and coordinates human resources activities, such as employment, compensation, relations, benefits, training, and employee services.
- Identify gaps between policies and existing practices.
- Coordinates with different stakeholders for motivational and behavioral training/seminars at company or as deem feasible.
- Analyzes wage and salary reports and data to determine competitive compensation plan.
- Writes directives advising department managers of Company policy regarding equal employment opportunities, compensation, and employee benefits.
- Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects employees to fill vacant positions
- Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward Company goals.
- Administers performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization. Administers salary administration program to ensure compliance and equity within organization.
- Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.
- Prepares reports and recommends procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover.
- Administers benefits programs such as life, health, and dental insurance, pension plans, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance
- Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
- Provides management direction and counseling. Supervises clerical assistant and temporary staffing as needed
- Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
- Maintains continuity among corporate, division, and local work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
- To develop the HR team, to ensure the provision of a professional HR service to the organization.
- Develop HR processes to address the effective management of people with respect to Succession Planning/Competency Mapping.
- To address matters related to employee grievances.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
